Enum RevisionType

  • All Implemented Interfaces:
    Serializable, Comparable<RevisionType>

    public enum RevisionType
    extends Enum<RevisionType>
    Distributed primitive revision types.

    Revision types dictate the semantics of new revisions of a distributed primitive. They indicate how the new revision is initialized and how it relates to prior revisions.

    • Enum Constant Detail

      • NONE

        public static final RevisionType NONE
        A distributed primitive that is initialized with an empty state.
      • VERSION

        public static final RevisionType VERSION
        A distributed primitive that is initialized from the previous revision and sets the previous revision to read-only mode.
      • PROPAGATE

        public static final RevisionType PROPAGATE
        A distributed primitive that is initialized from the state of the previous revision and to which changes to the previous revision are propagated.
      • ISOLATE

        public static final RevisionType ISOLATE
        A distributed primitive that is initialized from the state of the previous revision and thereafter diverges.
    • Method Detail

      • values

        public static RevisionType[] values()
        Returns an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared. This method may be used to iterate over the constants as follows:
        for (RevisionType c : RevisionType.values())
            System.out.println(c);

        Returns:
        an array containing the constants of this enum type, in the order they are declared
      • valueOf

        public static RevisionType valueOf(String name)
        Returns the enum constant of this type with the specified name. The string must match exactly an identifier used to declare an enum constant in this type. (Extraneous whitespace characters are not permitted.)
        Parameters:
        name - the name of the enum constant to be returned.
        Returns:
        the enum constant with the specified name
        Throws:
        IllegalArgumentException - if this enum type has no constant with the specified name
        NullPointerException - if the argument is null
